Touch is a sport that doesn't need a large amount of expensive kit. You can buy specialist touch rugby shoes but the best footware to begin with is football boots with moulded studs / blades (screw-in or metal studs are not allowed for safety reasons). Studs are recommended - especially on wet grass. Boots cost between £20 - £30.
Tighter clothing is typically worn as touches to your clothing count as a touch.
For safety reasons, all jewellery should be removed.
Equipment
The main difference between the equipment used in the game of Touch Rugby and other codes is the size of the ball (size 4 instead of 5). This is for a number of reasons relating to the way in which the game is played and the mixed gender nature of the sport.
